Before the redesign
Growth Institute spent a lot of time building partnerships with thought leaders like Seth Godin to provide content and courses for their community. As the company grew, the homepage started reflecting less on the aspect of their community and more so on the content. People started associating the company with selling books, when that was not a feature of the platform.
Transforming People into Experts
I was contracted by Jackrabbit Mobile to implement the web redesign. I mocked up three different wireframes that refocused the layout to highlight the UVP of Growth Institute, which was "transforming people into experts." The woman's gaze in the hero image draws the eye to the headline and then down to the Faculty and Curriculum button. Those buttons take the user below the fold to respective sections. Both the faculty section (photos of thought leaders) and the curriculum section were design to draw users into exploring content and courses, where most of the conversion happens.
Logo refresh, web design
Growth Institute is a community that connects C level executives to business thought leaders with the goal of facilitating learning and growth.
The home page redesign was implemented to highlight a world class selection of thought leaders and courses. The logo redesign also mimics the modern and professional look and feel of the new site.
